Totally Fucked Up (Gregg Araki, 1993) 1hr 25m | 26/09/19 18:00 @ CCA Glasgow
Told in fifteen vignettes, this pseudo-documentary film chronicles the lives of six queer adolescents dealing with sex, love, homophobia, depression and relationships as they come of age in 1990s LA. A heartfelt, anarchic portrayal of teenage angst.
Screening as part of Gregg Araki’s '90s New Queer Cinema classics: the Teen Apocalypse Trilogy of Totally Fucked Up (1993), The Doom Generation (1995) and Nowhere (1997). A kaleidoscope of pop culture, nihilism, disenfranchised youth and…reptilian aliens.
Included in the Teen Apocalypse Trilogy ticket (£12)
Individual tickets are priced on a sliding scale, £0-£8, depending on what you can afford. There's a guide to the three-tier scale here: bit.ly/slidingscaleguide (and in the photos to the left). Register for a free ticket via email firstname.lastname@example.org.
